This short gives an overview of how I assembled a nano aquascape following a dirted tank method and quickly achieved a flourishing nano ecosystem.
The tank is a 22l cube, with mud from a local canal underneath a substrate of inexpensive play sand. It’s fully planted without spending too much money, includes a cleanup crew of fascinating crustaceans, gastropods and fish, with some beautiful nano danios as well. This was an aquascaping experiment that worked.
If you’d like to know any of the exact products or plant species used let me know in the comments and I will respond with the details. I’m thinking of doing a more detailed full video on this. If that’s something you’d like to see, let me know. More projects are on the drawing board – beautiful planted tanks, that don’t break the bank.
