A month ago I set out to see if it was possible to set up a living, breathing ecosystem in something as small as a mayonnaise jar, and here’s proof that it is!
This 28-day update gives you an overview of how I set up the jar nanoscape, the key moments on the journey and a look at the maintenance carried out on day 28 to help further develop our little pearl weed forest. There’s a bumblebee horn snail (nerite) living in the jar and keeping it clean.
