After much refining, our first slow TV production is live. Because I’m learning as I go along, I decided to start small with a 45-minute video featuring the 22-litre nano cube, which was the first tank we scaped here on aquaSplainer.
The video has been shot at 4K and 60fps to really capture this tiny underwater world in magnificent detail. The trickling of the filter can be heard for a soothing effect, and I’ve added some subtle ambient music in there too. What do you think of it?
You can see from the plants and how the pearlweed is pearling that the Walstad method has really paid off. It’s a natural aquatic world for these creatures.
As you watch, you can see a male betta fish scoping out his territory, celestial pearl danios zipping around, some otocinclus cleaning the leaf, hardscape and glass surfaces, and some cherry shrimp competing with the betta for an algae wafer.
I hope you find it relaxing and calming. Aquarium Zen.
