I set up this planted nano cube about 2.5 months ago and I think it’s looking good.
The frogbit (Limnobium laevigatum) on the surface provides a floating filtration system with its roots hanging down, the shrimp love it and dart in and out of it. However, it grows fast, blocks out the light a bit and makes it harder to see the fish.
So I’d like to ask what you think. Does the tank look better with the floating plants, or without?
Please watch this short and let me know what you think in the comments below. Soon, I’ll be adding videos of how I scaped this tank, and other exciting aquascaping projects to the channel. So I hope you like what you see so far – but let me know either way.
